培生儿童英语分级阅读1-6级，包括音频和视频《培生儿童英语分级阅读》是2011年1月1日由湖北少儿出版社出版的图书，作者是马修。该书有最地道的英语语言、最生动活泼的故事形式、最符合儿童学习规律的科学系统，是一套儿童英语启蒙的经典读物。

《培生儿童英语分级阅读》的编写是在权威调查的基础上进行的，在调查中发现在英语里，有12个单词占我们全部阅读词汇的25%，有20个单词占10%，另有68个单词占剩下的20%。这意味着，在英语里，仅仅100个单词就占我们生活中所用单词的50%。这些单词我们称之为“高频词”。

在本套读物中，重点单词不断重复地出现在文章当中，我们通过这种方式把重点单词系统地引入到孩子的学习中去，让孩子们通过不断地重复，快速地熟悉生活中常用的高频词汇。每级在词汇引入方面的严格控制，可以让孩子们在阅读开始时不会感觉到困难，从而增强阅读的成就感，培养阅读的兴趣。

学习英语应从什么时候开始？专家告诉我们，儿童时期是学习英语的黄金期。由于儿童的大脑处在发育期，因此当儿童学习一门以上的语言时，大脑会自动进行分区，不同的语言系统直接与事物概念相联系，不必经过母语翻译。

同时，儿童学习外语对母语不但没有副作用，反而使他们超越语言能力，在认知能力上受益，促进其认知能力的发展。因此，儿童时期是学习英语的最佳阶段。家长和老师应抓住孩子语言学习的黄金关键期，为孩子选择合适的启蒙读物。
